My Philosophy

I started my first business when I was 15 years old, buying and selling VHS tapes of my favorite rock bands.

My parents were entrepreneurs, and taught me a lot about business, hard work, and creating the life you want.

When I got my MBA, I created a study abroad program in Australia so that I could experience what living in another country was like.

My focus areas of study were Entrepreneurship and International Business.

I once spent an entire year pursuing my then dream job in Hawaii.

I landed that job, helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses internationally.

Since then, I have guided hundreds of businesses in creating over $1.92 billion in new sales globally.

Growing up in a remote small town of less than 7,000 people in Northern Arizona, the world felt like a big and interesting place. From a young age I wanted to travel and explore the world.

I have since lived on four continents and explored all seven, fulfilling a life goal to step foot on every continent.

My father taught me “You can do anything you set your mind to.”

I still believe that to be true.

Today I help CEOs, Entrepreneurs, and Executive Leaders to create a life that works, and a life that they love.

——

I have spent over 50 days in silent meditation, climbed the tallest mountain in Africa, and trekked solo to Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas. I have organized a whitewater rafting expedition down the Grand Canyon, led a team up Haleakalā volcano on Maui from sea to summit (over 10,000 feet), and kayaked self-supported along the highest sea cliffs in the world on the north coast of Molokai.

Why am I sharing this? Because I like to do hard things. I seek to push myself outside of my comfort zone. For me, this is where the growth happens in life.

There is no growth in the comfort zone, and there is no comfort in the growth zone.

I am an Explorer, like my father and grandfather before me. I always say yes to adventure, and I enjoy the exploration of inner and outer worlds.

I climb mountains -- not to conquer them, but to conquer myself.

What is important in life isn’t what you’ve done, but who you are Being

When my first marriage fell apart, I pushed myself to become a better listener and develop a more compassionate heart. It was then that I made the conscious decision to dedicate my life to serving others.

To challenge myself, I chose to do the hardest thing I could think of - something that scared me, which was to spend time with the dying.

This led me to become a hospice volunteer, which has been one of the richest experiences of my life.

I am still a work in progress. I have faced my own struggles and challenges in life. I still do.

I am always learning, growing and evolving.

In support of my own growth, I have hired and continue to hire the best coaches I can find, therapists, personal trainers, consultants, healers, and experts.

I’ve created community and shared learning through Mastermind groups, men’s groups, and accountability partnerships with other entrepreneurs.

As the old African proverb goes..

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

——

I am here to help you evolve, while cultivating my own evolution.

I have an insatiable appetite to learn and grow. I am a huge fan and student of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, enthusiastically exploring the highest levels of Self-Actualization and Transcendence, in particular.

I love supporting my clients in their journey and see this work in helping you create what you most want in your business and life a core piece of my life purpose.

This quote from the Greek philosopher Pericles inspires who I am being in the world:

“What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.” – Pericles
